Samara looked around at all the other Sparks being chosen. She at first was afraid that she wouldn't be chosen first, but she was beginning to worry that she wasn't going to be chosen at all. She tried to see if there was a bright side to this, but found none. No one even had seemed to show interest in her.
'don't worry, girl,' she thought to herself, 'it's all gonna be okay. They just haven't seen you yet. You'll be picked soon,'
She forced herself to smile and look like she would be the perfect Spark. And she prayed. She begged to be chosen, to not be left behind.
