Turning back to him she gave a small smile. "You're too kind. I must admit though you have changed my perception of mere mortals." Flashing her brilliant charming smile she ignored the stares she knew the couple were receiving. "Go out? Yes, it does sound like a rather delightful idea. I think it will also relieve some stress from having to smile to everyone all night." She wasn't sure about him but to have to smile to every person she looked at, especially the humans, it began to become tiring for her. Of course in a physical sense she wasn't tired.
Glancing over her shoulder she saw her friend Melissa come up behind her. "My I forgot you could dance so well." The girl gave Avyn a pat on her shoulder then turned to look at Simon. "Don't worry about tonight me good sir. My friend here doesn't bite hard when she takes someones blood." Melissa always hated humans and that probably was never going to change. Avyn cut her a sharp deathly glare not believing her friend brought up such a touchy conversation. Of course it was in everyone's minds, that she was certain of. How would a vampire get along with not taking their betrothed's blood? Surely they need to get it from somewhere or else they will eventually in a sense starve to death. "Don't listen to her she is only playing with you."
