After a few seconds Dyew straightened and removed his other glove. His left hand was pressed to the girl’s chest, above her breasts and his right was placed on her brow. He shut his eyes and started to tilt his head ever so slowly to the right and down. His eyes darted to and fro under their lids. He remained like this for a goodly amount of time before opening his eyes and nodding to Gui. “She will live.”

If Gui did not rise holding Aelita he would take her up in his own arms. Either way he would glare at Yuko and spit upon the ground. “You are evil and deserve a fate worse than death.” He seemed completely unaffected now by his loss and would pine for it as much as Aelita would for her's.
