Michael was sitting in O'Rileys at the bar, lost in thoughts. Once again he was alone for New Years. But that wasn't really a big surprise for him. He always faced rejection, and didn't really understand it. He glanced down the bar and seen a young lady two seats down order a bottle of Jack and quickly gulp it down. He thought to himself that she was beautiful and thought about talking to her, but decided "Nahh. She'll never talk to me". Before he knew it, he was moving towards her. He thought, "Michael, what are you doing? You idiot!" But then decided, "You know what? The worst she can say is shove off."
