Jerico, Asha

Thump.

There! There it was again. Jerico glanced at the walls with suspicion obvious in his features, far past the point of wondering if it were simply his imagination. The sound was definitely there. The question now was, who or what was making it, disturbing the peace of his mind...and his patience, really. He was easy to annoy. He looked back at Jennifer for a lingering moment before huffing out a useless 'tch' sound, wondering somewhere in the back of his head if she might be a whore, but realizing that that would be impossible in a place like this. These thoughts occurred as he turned away from her, mumbling something about being bored of the conversation, and simply left the room with her inside. All of this after he grabbed the bottle of pills from his dresser, of course. He knew he'd need those for breakfast.

The sound reoccurred a few more annoying times, but the issue Jerico was having was trying to pin-point where it was coming from. He had that weird, twisty feeling in his stomach that the dirtier parts of his mind went to with an aggravating amount of amusement, but he hardly entertained them for very long. It wouldn't make much sense anyway. Who would be doing that sort of stuff so early in the morning anyway? Well, aside from Jennifer and, Jerico could only assume, Kaili. That overly promiscuous idiot was probably still stuck down in the covers in her room. And there was no way someone as big-eyed and innocent as Asha or overly awkward and odd as Kir would ever be doing any acts like those... It was hard for Jerico to even picture, really. Oh, but he was getting off-track. The thumping noise. He needed to find the source and stop it immediately before the sound drilled itself into his head.

Thump.

His eyes scanned the hall, but concentrating didn't make it any easier. The walls were made out of some sort of typical chrome that places like these used for better insulation and a bit of sterilization on top of that... How he even knew that, he wasn't really sure, actually. But he was getting... There. Jerico's eyes locked onto a door that he was sure was the cause of the mysterious noise. He marched up to it and, without a moment's hesitation, knocked as loudly as possible. Was this Kia's room? Or maybe Kaili's? Or it could be...Kir's or something. He wasn't one hundred percent, but he was pretty sure this room belonged to Kia. Well, at least he'd get two birds with one stone: Kia and the stop of the noise. The idiot little cat was probably rolling around the room with yarn or something.

The thumping noise stopped for a moment and Jerico was certain that it was coming from the room in front of him. No, not Kia, this was... Kaili. Had to be Kaili's room. One last thumping noise ignited another round of door-banging. He was starting to get impatient. Damnit, Kai-- "Nn, can I help you?" Oh. That's not Kaili. Asha stood at the door, looking particularly miserable. The bags under his eyes signified he'd gotten next to no sleep the night before. His usually neat, blond hair was completely disheveled, and his normal bright and cheery composure was toned down to a dim shine. He looked like he might be ready to teeter into Jerico, which led the raven to think of Ash as actually kind of cute. But the thought hardly lasted.

"What're you doing in there?" Jerico demanded, trying to see over the blond's shoulder. He couldn't see anything suspicious, but the room was mostly dark. He undoubtedly woke the poor spec up.

Ash shot Jerico a look of confusion as he rubbed at his eyes, using the doorway to hold himself up. He just wanted to go back to sleep. He had no idea what was going on or what this guy was talking about, but he could tell that it was going to be a bad day. Already, his bad luck was kicking in. He gave no hint to his frustration, but Jerico thought he caught a hint of something. Jerico was good at reading people. "I'm sorry, but I was sleeping. Did I disturb you..?"

Thump. Ash didn't catch it. Jerico did. Jerico looked down the hall, his eyes narrowing again. He'd been wrong. He went to the wrong room, woke up the wrong person. Without even bothering to turn back to the other spec, he merely gave a suddenly uninterested wave. "Nevermind," he mumbled, turning and walking down the hall to figure out where the noise was coming from. Again.

Ash sighed to himself, not bothering to try and get his fuzzy mind to figure out what was going on. They were probably having another argument or something. Maybe they're playing a game, the lighter part of his mind tried to say. The darker part, however, told him that he really didn't care. He turned and went through the drawers, getting dressed in something a lot more casual than what he was used to. He checked himself out in the mirror and frowned, not caring for what he was seeing. It wasn't often that Ash went without his Arabian-esque threads. It just felt weird to him to walk around wearing a pair of gray sweat pants and an over-sized white T-shirt. He made a mental note to sneak out at lunch and bring back some of his preferred clothing. With a shrug and a mental reminder that there were people out there that deserved a smiling face, even if it was his, he forced an empty grin to his lips before strolling out the door. The bounce wouldn't be necessary until he actually saw someone. He was headed to the library to see if he could find another book like the one Kir had entrusted him with. He doubted it, but he was curious.

Meanwhile, Jerico was slowly stalking through the hallway. He couldn't figure it out. Damnit. Damnit. Damnit. He glared at each and every door. The last door he'd tried after Ash's had ended up being Jennifer's room, which turned up empty. Obviously. The thumping had stopped for a few minutes now, so he gave out a frustrated sigh, deciding it wasn't worth it anymore, and stomped off to the kitchen to find something sweet to fill his stomach. I swear, if I can't find Kia after this, I will open every door in that hall.
