Surprised. hat was the expression on Corinth's face when another girl walked up and offered her clean handkerchief. So much attention. Had Cor ever received this much positive attention from classmates in her life at one time? It seemed not. She quirked her face into a smile of thanks, ducking her head slightly as she accepted the cloth. It was wet, slightly chilled, icy against her fingers. "Thanks." she said, feeling awkward again, her face blooming with red roses of embarrassment. She wasn't very good with people she didn't know. Everyone expected something.

She mopped her face with the cloth, the cool feeling blissfully good against her heated skin. After getting rid of the last dregs of ugly red blood on her face she sort of held the now brown mottled cloth out, still clenched in her fist. "Do you, um, want it back?" She offered. She wasn't going to force it on the other, but she wasn't going to keep it without permission either. But really, who wanted a cloth with some random girl's blood on it? Her blood. Now, if it were some celebrity's blood, then freaks would be all over it, but Cor was no celebrity. Not by a long shot.

Austin chuckled slightly. "There's no use going out of my way to avoid trouble." He said, amused grin still in place. "It always finds me in the end." he gave an almost sarcastic wink and then turned to examine the lines. They were thinning quickly. People were milling again, sharing schedules and discussing classes. Tin pointed jauntily with his index finger. "I'm goin to go see what I've got planned to do in the hell-hole, wanna come?" He asked, his smile replaced with a smirk.

In turning, Austin would know if he'd made a new friend or not. He ambled lazily to the line labeled for Ws, among other letters. Not that there were that many people in the line to start with. The further down in the alphabet the less people had those last names. Austin had usually been last in role calling, and all manner of things for having a W. Not that it irked him much. Sometimes and Y or an X or a Z would come by, but being last was distinguishing. It set him apart. Therefore It was good.

The sandy-haired boy took his schedule and swept his eyes across it. well, not bad. Then he lifted his head to search for the blonde boy he'd previously been talking to. Lucas.
