Jinx lightly hit her tail against my shoulder blades. I could tell that she wanted red snapper. What an annoying cat I have. "Never mind, do you have red snapper?"
I keep eating slowly. It's funny, how slowly I eat compared with everyone else. But I grew up with two cultures and I had elements of both ingrained into me.
I watch everyone with an interested look; I'll have to get along with them for a while. Speaking of which... I ran my fingers across the small stone embedded in my throat, the one place Jinx wasn't on. I don't think she likes the stone very much, or maybe she's just wary of it.
