For one thing, finding the written form of the word was, for anyone unfamiliar with Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation, right near insurmountable. She could only imagine how much time Vinny'd spent looking for brancah jee nevee, but somehow he'd figured out it was written rather differently than it was pronounced--had to have, since he now knew what it meant. "And I don't make a habit of playing board games. Figure I'd rather sit back here and watch the kids have their fun."

That seemed to bring Alice's attention forth. "The Ouija board is bull, but it's still fun," she said, casting a look to the three of them. "Maybe you guys are too old to know what fun is nowadays.
