The cops didn't clear out until well into the night, leaving behind nothing but unease. Inu sat on the sidewalk in front of the building, knees drawn to her chest and her head resting in her arms. No one bothered her, not even Tai, who stood by watching her silently. She stood up silently, pulled a set of keys out of her pocket and climbed in to the red Mustang that sat at the curb.

"Where are you going?" Tai asked.

"I'm going to go wrap my car around a tree before my life can get any worse." She said, slamming her door shut she revved the engine and drove off into the dark hours of the morning.
