Mikuo's breath shuddered when Ai cleaned the cut. God-freaking-damn, that stung! He bit his lip, holding back whatever swear words he had been going to say. Mikuo had a rather impressive volcabulary, it had to be said, although some of them were just plain inappropriate to use out loud. Especially in front of Ai.

That was almost as painful as the wounds themselves, seeing that kind of reaction to them. Even though Mikuo couldn't think of any other possible reaction to them...
