Anez walked around awe struck while the king talked. She was really only half listening to what he said as she was already really tired and found this room beautiful in foreign way. When he was done speaking she turned around to look at him while sitting on the bed. It was soft and comfy and she wanted nothing more than jump back and go to sleep, but she could tell business needed to be done, so she kept her eyes open.

"So I'm a scapegoat?" she asked her voice still a whisper. She looked at him, her question came out more hurt then she meant it, but moved on. "A scapegoat for what?" She moved some hair out of her face and behind her ear and looked at him, her eyes begging for sleep. She started picking at her finger nails while she waited for the king to answer. She was also hoping that he would explain better this time because since her mind was driven with sleep she couldn't keep up, and she partially felt like he was talking in riddles trying to avoid the subject, which is weird that you wouldn't tell your hostage why you had kidnapped them.
