The door to the taxi creaked noisily as Miranda stepped out,her limber body bent in the cab to grab her bag. Handing the cab driver some money she shut to door, he sped off saying something about her tapping the whole way there.
She sighed, "At least I could finally get out of that damned room..." she hoisted her bag over her shoulder and sauntered up to the door.
She had arrived in town earlier in the morning but had to rent a room for the day and hide, waiting till nightfall to take a cab out to the old house.
Crossing her arm over her body to grip her sleeve she walked up the stairs, and knocked on the old door.
"He-hello? Is th-there an-an-any one ther-r-re?" she nervously peeped as she looked through the glass. I'm sure this is the right address... She thought, double-checking the flyer anyway at the door.
"Cursed Children", the words flashed through her mind the moment she read it,Could their be other's like me out there?
Gaining permission from the nuns at the abbey she left, in search of someone to break her horrid curse, or even just someone who understood...understood the way it felt to be...cursed.
Knocking on the door again she said, "My name is Miranda, and I am cursed!"
