There had been a soft skittering in Emett's room just before he entered, but the source would have been indistinguishable. The window was open and there would be no suspect outside. In fact, he seemed to have overlooked the noise anyway, just went away at work at that desk of his. Lucky, lucky. However, there would be a soft mewling from outside the yard as a cat paced back and forth. A very odd cat...but barely visible in the breaking light of dawn. And soon it would disappear from the yard, padding down the road towards the large mansion. It was slightly out of place in the suburbs, but it certainly drew interest to passerbys.

Back at Emett's room, nothing would indicate a foreign presence. Nothing appeared to have been moved and nothing had been taken...The only clue would be a single missing fish...
