((I'm a little rusty so forgive me. And I'm controlling Kiera for this post and maybe the next fex, since Kuro has left the rp))

Elei was pleased by Kiera's response. This sole person was going to take up her offer, and was giving her the benefit of the doubt that no harm would come to her. If only the rest would take note. Especially Falwich. With the go-ahead, Elei'mei took Kiera hand and at that same second, they were gone. Away from the throne room, away from the castle. The two reappeared about a mile away from the doors to their home. They were outside, right in the mist of some of the worst weather Elei has witnessed in a while. She could barely get a breath in without sand and dust particles scratching the back of her throat. Not to mention you could see the air, a greenish tint that only meant toxic fumes. This Earth, once so lush and full of life so long ago, was now a wasteland.

"Tell me something, Kiera. Why is there so much resistance to leave when this... atmosphere.. is in such a state? Beings attach to things which are comforting and warm... this place holds nothing of this thing called comfort, at least not anymore. What once was a place you all called home has been long since gone. There is nothing here." Elei's words weren't harsh nor sensitive. They were simply blunt and curious.

Kiera had held her breath as Elei took her hand, teleporting to where they were standing now. It wasn't until the end of Elei's statement that she finally remembered to breathe. She took a step back, eyes landing on the large doors that led to the castle far off in the distance. Elei was unaffected by the teleportation, for obviously the alien creature was no stranger to such an experience. But that right there was Kiera's first time and there was no denying she felt a little light headed and disoriented. Though not weak, as Kaine appeared to be on his return. Kiera assumed it was because Elei was in control of the teleportation and not herself. She didn't feel any different, and still wasn't sure how she would teleport herself away from this land. As the nauseous sensation in her stomach wore off, she was able to respond to Elei.

"Before you appeared, this planet was all we knew existed. The decay you see... it's been so gradual over time that some of the members in our faction might have turned a blind eye to," Kiera spoke, her words dragging together slowly, something on her mind. She knew for a while the state their planet was in. How could she not? She was a master of life and death, not by choice, but the facts were there. Every life force on this planet had a pulse... and now they only living pulses she can pick up on are that of her faction, this alien, and the slow, faltering pulse of this planet. At any moment the pulse could stop. The overwhelming mix of death and spirits was just as harmful to the life on this earth as water and air were necessary. This knowledge of her home she had always kept to herself. Of course there were many times she wanted to burst out and yell what was wrong, but the thought of Gabbe's face bursting into tears always made Kiera change her mind.

Elei could see that Kiera had a lot of her mind. She took her hand once more and teleported them back inside the throne room. Not even a minute had passed and Vance came back to the room. Kiera found the nearest chair and took a seat, a spinning in her head causing the nausea to return. Elei made eye contact with Vance, seeing that his focus was solely directed at her.

He spoke: "Elei'mei, I have a proposal for you." He began. "How would you like to join us in our faction?"

Elei was never caught off guard, but this question was a winner. Her face faltered, her jaw dropping for a brief second before anyone could really notice. She flew closer to Vance, about a meter or so away. She stared at him seriously, large violet eyes analyzing his features. He definitely appeared serious. It was this realization of his seriousness that caused Elei to break out in laughter. She found herself doing backflips in the air while holding her stomach for it hurt so much from laughing. After a minute or so she calmed down and stood up straight again. She moved closer to Vance, poking his chest with her long index finger, then released, causing her to float backwards away.

"As much as I enjoy watching you creatures, I don't think I can become one of you. I'm too old and jaded for such a thing. But your bold offer and trust has moved me. I'd like to help you in your travels, to find a new home. See me as a guide and I will stay with you all while I can. How is that?" It wasn't exactly what Vance had asked for, but it was on offer he would be silly to resist.
