She gathered quite a bit onto her finger and spread it lightly on the paper in front of her. Swirl... down... right... She gradually began to feel lighter, happier even as she put her finger to the page. This is all I need. I don't need anything else. Art is my world. Art is my life. If I could paint on forever like this, I know I would be happy. She felt for the wet rag she used to dry her fingers off with. As she cleaned off the blue paint, she felt Brutis rub up against her leg. She bent down to pet him. "Hi Brutis. How are you? I bet you're being a good kitty, aren't you?" After a few seconds, Sophie turned back to her easel, ready to continue painting, hoping that her fingers were putting the image in her head down on the paper.
