Genkei woke up that morning to the sound of the pa system starting up, then the announcements that came following it. He groaned to himself softly, something was oddly wrong about the position he was laying in, he could barely feel the bed beneath him. Sitting up just he bit he'd noticed the only thing on the bed were his legs, the rest of this body being on the cold wooden floor. It seemed he couldn't quite get comfortable enough to actually stay on the bed that night, but tossed and turned without any remembrance. Genkei groaned again and slowly got himself out of the awkward position he'd gotten himself into. With a slight stretch of his body he soon went over and rummaged through his bags of clothes, finding himself an outfit that seemed well enough to wear that day. After taking off the clothes from yesterday he put the new pair on and made his way down the stairs. The announcement mentioned breakfast being served until 8. He wondered if there was anything he'd be able to eat but he'd most likely would find out once he got to the dining hall. On his way out the door he noticed the package on the porch and picked it up, he wasn't to open the thing but he didn't want to leave it there and have to come back for it after eating. Instead he took it with him as he went towards the dining hall to eat.
