Lane did not like attention. That was a fact. Actually. come to think of it, ever since she was a child she hated attention. she was always at the back of the dance class, always sitting out during p.e, preferring to sit back, relax and sketch a picture then actually jump in and take the limelight. It wasn't that she was unable to do anything but keep to herself, but more, she liked her peace and quiet. So when she heard an excited squeal from across the yard, her two besties jump up in excitement, she almost rolled her eyes, knowing that some new popular kid had probably entered the school. She didn't didn't really care though, to be honest. Anyone with that kind of reputation tended to stay out her way.

"Hello again Lane, long time no see."

Lane paused, automatically stopping mid page. For a second there, she thought she heard her name. Her friends had gone eerily silent. Now that she thought about it, the whole court yard had gone silent. hm... that was rather unusual. Especially in this rich-ass school practically dripping with snob-

"Lane!" Her friend, Lisa hissed, tugging at her sleeve nervously, "answer him!"

Lane stopped. It wasn't until now that she noticed the rather evident shadow cast over her sketchpad. Feeling slightly uneasy~ yep, everyone was definitely staring alright~ she let her eyes drift up and grew more and more alarmed as they brushed over fashionable shoes, a toned abdomen, large shoulders and sandy blond hair belonging to none other than~ gulp. Drake Moulderan himself. Only the biggest celebrity of all time, hottest male as marked by Gloss Magazine, winner of various awards and... her ex boyfriend. No. This couldn't be happening.

"Lane!" The second tug from her friend~ actually, this time it was a pinch, brought her back from her thoughts. Lane flinched and glared at her. The brunette shrugged and mouthed a "talk-to-him!" in her direction. She glanced back.

"W-What are you doing here!"

Really. Lane Fraser did not deal well under pressure... and a school yard filled with more people then she had ever had look at her in her whole life, all staring, whispering and pointing in her direction because the hottest celebrity of their time had approached her and decided to start up a conversation who also happened to be her sexy ex boyfriend most certainly counted as pressure.
