"Of course, That was so long ago. I was just worried you'd- that you'd- you know what? Never mind." Ian felt himself grow concerned, his eyebrows scrunching together momentarily, sensing something was off with his Lou... Lou... wait, Louella, why the hell did he keep doing that? It's not like it mattered, his senses were rusty when it came to Louella, it was actually more likely that his 'scenes' were dead and gone. Ian had to admit, he was curious as to what she had wanted to say, but just as he opened his mouth to ask, Lou changed the subject completely.
"So what are the odds right? It's like someone's playing with us," she walked over to the other guy in the room, Ian was pretty sure that the guy was gay (and actually kinda hopeful seeing as how close he and Lou seemed to be). The man smiled at Ian, "I'm Darren Goldwin. Executive producer aka the one who finances everything." Ian rose an eyebrow as Darren tapped his shoulder.
"Iiiii- should go and pack my things as well. See you two later," Lou rushed out the room, making Ian even more suspicious. But as much as he wanted to go talk to her, he had just said he would forget everything about their past, so really he had no right to. He sighed heavily, scratching the back of his neck. "Maybe I've made a mistake..." he muttered to himself. But Ian turned back to Darren, faking an enthusiastic smile is if none of that whirlwind of emotions hadn't just occurred within him. He figured it might be polite to chat for a little. "It really is nice to meet you. Um, thank you for bringing me here I suppose. It is a great opportunity." Ian's smile wavered a moment, his gaze wandering to the floor. He saw his things still scattered on the ground, rushing to pack them back into his backpack, shoving the little things in and grabbing his sketch pad. Ian looked up chuckling nervously as he stood, feeling undoubtedly stupid. "Um, I'm in graphic design, so I draw a lot you know." he explained, gesturing to the sketchbook. He was defiantly nervous as he remembered all the Lou-related drawings he had. He really didn't need anyone thinking he was a weirdo who was obsessed with his ex from high school. "Well it was nice meeting you, but I kinda just want to go put some stuff away." Ian smiled as he walked away, clutching his sketchbook to his side. He walked directly back to Darren, "So do you mind showing me where I'm staying?" he questioned smiling nervously.
