Abegail waited impatiently as Franklin summoned the waitress. Abegail scowled as the woman took her time to move to the table but her scowled turned to an expression of shock at Franklin's statement.

Abegail shook her head. He couldn't possibly be right. There was no way that Walter told anyone about what happened, about her needing to keep the flag on her person, about how she had died but yet lived. He'd never risk her life like that. If someone tried to take the pieces of the flag from her it would mean her death and it's power was enough for anyone to attack her.

That fact was why Abegail had gone through such lengths to have it split up and stashed in various forms on her person at all times. Many pieces meant it couldn't simply be taken away.

Part of her was relieved...clearly Niclas or Adalwolf were dead. They were not walking around, spilling her secrets or hunting her and Walter down. The other part was struggling to believe that Walter would have told her secret. He wouldn't knowingly put her in danger, of that she was sure. But if someone got him talking.....

"So you say Dr Miller told you. Where did you meet him? How long ago was this?"

Abegail rested her elbows on the table and stared at the man across from her.

The waitress approached and Abegail ordered a coffee and waited for the man to both order and answer her question.
