Abegail went silent. it was like her heart stopped as Walter told her he had told the man about her...condition. She heard the woman's voice again and Walter telling her to hold on, although for a moment Abegail wasn't sure who it was meant for.

Charlotte scowled. She could hear Walter explaining that he didn't think they were under surveillance, that he had told someone about Abegail, that he would take a flight out if she so desired it. Charlotte couldn't have that.

She took a few more steps towards the other room. "Oh I can wait Dr Miller. I would love your company though."

Abegail took a slow breath in and then let it out while she took a large drink from her glass again. "Aye Walter. I am sure ye thought ye were helpin'."

Her fingers traced the dossier again. "I think we need to meet. Walter, I am scared. Somethin' is na right." She was angry for being so weak but she didn't want to face the man alone again and she wanted to talk to see Walter in person before he discussed anything with the woman.

"When can ye fly out?" Abegail's voice was quiet as she gave in to her fear and concern and asked Walter to meet her.
