Alec Ferramore was torn. His parents lay in their bed dying, their faces sinking in, withering, death near by waiting to take them both from him. He had never thought that they would go so soon, they were still young his mother only 38 and his father 44, and their they were at deaths door. He fought back the pain that shot in his chest, looking down at the floor and sighing. There was a knock at the door as one of the guards that stood outside stuck his head in and said, " Miss Hanley is here to see you. Do you wish for her to enter?" Alec nodded saying, " Yes, she may enter." The guard nodded and opened the door the rest of the way letting Audrey in. She stood in a long blue dress with her sword hanging around her waist, all her strength and beauty shining through her as she walked in.He was glad she had came. He knew that she out of everyone he knew would understand what he was going through, and that chased some of the dread that hung in his midst away making him feel a little more like his self.
