"Oh hey, Rhode. How's it going?"

Rhode and Janice looked around simultaneously as Lance’s voice called out to them, their eyes regarding first year with curiosity. There was a brief hesitation in his step that suggested the first-year was reluctant to join them, but both disciplinary squad members simply attributed it to the venomous presence of Rhode.

Janice nudged at his waist subtly as they exchanged glances, her hushed voice becoming abruptly stern, “Now be nice to the first-years.” She perked up then, plastering a smile over her face as she spoke openly, “I’ll go check on the other stands, don’t slack off too much Rhode,” she waved before turning on her heels.

Rhode could only frown in response to the Lance’s question, his hooded eyes becoming ever so slightly more sinister. He sighed then as if to release the entirety of his built up tension as he eyes fell on first-year again.

“How does it look like it’s going?” Rhode snorted, a low hiss of anger amidst the ongoing silence. An expression of boredom twisting over his sharp features as he watched after Janice until she was out of earshot. His attention snapped back at Lance then, measuring the boy up and down. Finally, a single cruel smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, “Cheers for the assistance though," he offered, regardless of intentions the boy did inadvertently help him by getting Janice out of his hair for the time being. "Here to enjoy the fight? Or even request a duel perhaps?" he asked, deciding to indulge in the boy's question. "I'm sorry, i didn't catch your name either? Terrible memory here"
