Erixianti was unsure how she had gotten here, in fact, just several minutes ago, she had been certain she was walking down the large hill of the Expanse Plane. The doll-like girl stood quite alone, moving a little from side-to-side to avoid being buffeted by the bustle of the crowd. No one paid her any mind, the people seemingly more interested in their own activities than on the small figure. She was childishly confused by the turn of events and clutched her bear closer to her chest. The stuffed animal in question turned it's head, peering at her with it's large, beady eyes. She didn't pay it much heed as she stared around, wide, hazel orbs alit with hesitant excitement.
The city of Tinker Tocker was always abuzz with activity but was also host to an array of visitors, many of which were a lot taller than the girl who barely reached five feet. Despite the fact that she was clearly lost, Erixianti was not discouraged. She had traveled much of the dreamscape since The Dreaming had begun, much more than she had ever had a chance to do when restricted to nights. To the residents of the Dream Plane, The Dreaming was the name given to this new time era, when the whole of the waking world seemed to fall into eternal slumber. It was difficult to keep track of time here, in the midst of an ever-changing world. She knew not if it had been mere minutes, perhaps hours, even days or weeks since she had last had contact with her hostess. Still, she lamented to herself, it was not as if there was a lot that had been present in her other life.
In another world, Erixianti was known as Virie Raymbraint, a woman who was far too bookish for her own good. Virie had been similar to her dreamscape counterpart, a small girl whose appearance did not relay her age appropriately. The woman had been a literature fanatic and had been without proper contact, lacking in friendship or close companionship. However, so long as she had her books, this fact didn't effect her and she went about her life without complaint. Perhaps this was why Erixianti was a bit more adventurous and more relaxed about losing her way--it was all part of the grand scheme of the adventure anyway.
Adjusting the bear in her arms so perhaps she wasn't clutching as tightly (as the poor fellow had been making desperate flails of it's arms as if gasping for air), she decided to turn to her right. For Erixianti, there wasn't ever any location in mind, never really a purpose or directive. It was only whatever felt right and one way or another, it had always kept her safe. With that in mind, she tiptoed her way around the various strangers, careful not to be buffeted by the crowd. Her peachy-white hair rippled behind her as she made her way from the outer-lying edges of the city and moved towards the center of it. As she did so, the density of the people began to disperse, as many began breaking off into their own directions.
Truth be told, in all her explorations, she had never once been inside the heart of Tinker Tocker. This was an odd sort of realization for the girl, as she had explored nearly every else... She briefly thought to perhaps mark locations in the city down on her map, but remember she had long since abandoned the messy, crayon drawing the first time she had gotten lost. She didn't need anything like that anyway! She thought rather proudly to herself, her sense had never let her down! It was no sooner that she had thought this that she paused, blinking her wide eyes and taking in her surroundings in detail.
Somewhere between the entrance and the center, she must've taken a wrong turn, for this rather dismal looking, eerie location was not the fountain she had heard about. She observed the broken, cracking buildings, patched with gears and various wires. From what she could tell, this was the engineers spot of the city, a place for those just a little more twisted than friendly. Engineers were never right in their heads, neither were the other people who made sport for the company. Taking a deep breath, Erixianti decided to try taking slow steps backwards. Perhaps if she did so, she'd somehow find her way out of the mechanical maze.
