Quinera grinned as the girl took a hold of her hand. She helped her new friend get to her feet and smiled as she lifted Mr Bear to her mouth.

"My name is Erixianti." Quinn couldn't help but pull a face at that name. That was confusing. She couldn't pronounce that! She had difficulty pronouncing the word 'hospital' for goodness sake! The jester mused about it for two minutes before coming up with a solution. Eri. She could say that, no problem! She smiled to herself before her new friend...Eri carried on speaking through her marvellous teddy.

"I... am worried about the girl, though... Perhaps we could explore, just a bit?" Quinera grinned at the idea of exploring. She loved to explore and find new things that hid in the city. Just the other day she'd found an abandoned work place full of toy rockets that actually went! She had a lot of fun setting them off and watching the toys whizz round the room. And the other time she'd found the room that was lit with only fairy lights! That was amazing, she felt like she was surrounded by fireflies or magic. Or even firefly magic! She was distracted from her memories by the dazed bear speaking up again.

"Could you take us back into the center of the city? Maybe that would be a good place to start." The jester mulled that over, crossing her long arms. Erixianti might be able to go through the city fine but Quinn definitely could not. People already had stories about her but if she started walking round the streets in broad daylight? Uh oh. That would not work out well. She went to tell her friend this but saw she had walked a bit further along. Quinn watched as the girl turned to reach out for her. The jester grinned and skipped forward, spotting her new friend grab onto the material of her skirt. Good. Now she wouldn't get lost.

"I can take you to the centre but we'll have to go the secret way. Nobody knows my way round!" Quinn spoke quickly in rushed whispers and her eyes gleamed brightly. She hopped over to the edge of the alley way and took off round the corner, quickly, lightly. She felt Eri pull on her skirt as she moved too fast too quickly. Quinera winced. She would slow down the next time. The jester slipped her hand into the girl's grip. At the questioning look she shrugged.

"Easier to move around this way." The taller replied, not needing words to understand the question. She turned to see if anyone was about before going down a dark alleyway. She led Eri down the space, calling out behind her.

"Don't worry! I know where I'm going. Been down here tons of times. I can't believe no one's noticed it though..." She let her grip on the girl's hand go for a second to jump up and grab the first step of a ladder. The ladder slid down from the shadows above them and the jester turned and gestured with a grin.

"Going up!" She took a spring leap before scaling up the ladder with ease. When she reached the top of the landing, she knelt down to help Eri up. After they were both on their feet again, the jester turned to the view with a giggle.

"Say help to my Tinker Tocker. No one ever comes up here. They think I'm scary and evil." Quinn accented this by pretending to be a monsterish demon before decending into giggles.

"But that's OK for me since it means that I can use all of the roofs!" Quinera finished, gesturing to the expanses of cement and tiling.

"So, it was the centre you wanted to go to, right?"
