Kayle stuck out like a sore thumb and he hated it. The crisp clean white of his uniform with stripes of red flashed with brightness next to the drab navy of other uniforms. Not to mention his natural glow from too much light magic use was visibly clear to most magus and those rare guardians familiar with auras. He was the perfect example for the Medical corps today, shiny and pure, he was even polite enough to wear his proper uniform with all of his honors pinned to his arm badge, some for lives he saved others for teams lost where only he remained in the end, mission complete, and blood on his hands.

He didn't want to be so visible today, entrance ceremonies made him feel so young among the parents. He had talent and experiences that could match many of his elders but he was still young for his position as general and felt it showed the most on days like this, he hated being reminded of his responsibility.

He shrugged off his embarrassment though and carried himself as tall as he could and wandered the crowd toward the front where he would stand alongside the other generals and commanders. Medical Corps personnel stood with their squads so except for a few scattered specialists he was alone in his white uniform, left to his thoughts as he waited for something interesting to happen.
