Veyis gently got off of Myka. He slumped down agaisnt the wall next to her. "I'm sorry, Myka. I didn't mean to hurt you. It was Sin. She was trying to unleash Anti. I couldn't think of anything else to do." Veyix looked over at Myka and saw her hands were still bleeding, then noticed more was bleeding. Veyix slowly got up and gently picked Myka up into his arms. He began walking to the nurse's office, the blood from the claw gently dripping onto Myka's hand, still warm.

Doctor Everett appeared behind Veyix. "You're going to have to face him." Veyix looked back. "Veyix, I know it will be a hard battle, but the longer you wait for this confrontation the more people will get hurt. You're lucky enough that its winter break and that barely any students are here. This carnage must stop." Veyix looked him in the eys. "I know, Doctor Everett, but Anti will be sure to cause more damage in the battle than any other time in his existence. I have to choose my battle, not let it choose me. I have to find a way to battle Anti without causing harm to others. It won't be easy...I don't expect it to be. I just hope...that I win." He looked down at Myka. "For her sake and that girl I hurt. FOr everyone I haven't met yet and for those that I have." Everett put a hand on Veyix's shoulder, teleporting them to the nurse. Veyix gently put Myka onto the bed and sat in a chair next to her bed. Everett teleported away. Veyix watched as the nurses went to work, and while he did he realized how tired and exhausted he was. He gently nodded off to sleep as his own blood caked his shirt.
