Ryan couldn't help but smile a bit at her startled response and sudden elaboration of her dizziness. "I'm not one for loud noises, either," he explained after the girl told him what happened. Shortly after, she asked how he was feeling. "I'm fine, just haven't managed to get a lot of sleep recently if the bags under my eyes are any indication," he answered. He rubbed his tired eyes and took another deep breath of the clean air that surrounded him. I guess I could see why somebody would come here if they were in a panic, he thought. It's certainly nice and calming. Ryan closed his notebook and stood up, realizing as he did so that the girl in front of him was a fair bit shorter than himself. He was a bit startled at how he seemed to tower over her despite not being particularly tall himself. On top of that, she looked frail and sickly. He quickly remembered that most people don't exactly enjoy being judged by strangers and shyly looked away. "Sorry, it's just..." he mumbled and trailed off. In an attempt to break the silence, he tried to continue the conversation. "My name is Ryan Corlett... may I ask for your's?"
