The silence between them was both awkward and comforting. It was nice to to just dance with him without having to strike up a conversation. At the same time she felt that dialogue was needed. During war that she was having with herself, Jeff had pulled her waist closer and was moving in for a kiss. Her thoughts ceased and she looked up at him as he looked at her lips. He leaned in closer and teased her a bit as their lips brushed each other lightly. It didn't seem like a good idea to kiss him, but her moral compass was all screwed up at the current moment. Finally, their lips met for a kiss. It was a marvelous kiss ad hiss lips were soft. She closed her eyes and pulled him in closer to deepen the kiss. They had stopped dancing and she could feel the eyes of people on them, but they didn't matter. Right now it was her and Jeff.
