He forced himself not to role his eyes. Blake had seen the girls from afar. They were giggling and eyeing him and Idon. It annoyed him. Blake looked at Idon and gave him a playful grinned. "Girls are so silly now a days," he told him in an amused tone. Blake saw Alys's grin but ignored it.
When they reached the market he felt more at ease. He would be allowed to see what people had for sale. He wondered if there would be anything good to buy. 'Hmm, I have been wanting to see this familiar. I should buy a few things from her to see if she is any good,' he thought.
Now Blake began to walk in front of Alys and Idon. He looked back at them. "I will return. I have to go inquire about something. Though do not worry, I will be handing out invitations as I go. I will see you soon or later on today. Good day, Idon, Alys," he said. Then he quicken his pace as fast as he could. He had to stop quite a bit to hand out invitations.
He stopped in his tracks. 'I should bring a gift, I am a good citizen after all,' he thought. Blake bought a big fat juicy salmon. He held the packaged fish in the crook of his arm. He still needed to be able to hand out invitations. He wanted to finish with his bag quickly.
Finally he reached his destination, a small hut. He knew he was at the right hut when he saw the bear. It was just sleeping. Blake entered the hut and smiled at the women inside. With one hand he held out the packaged fish and invitation to her.
"Hello, here is your invitation to the ball. Also, the fish is for your furry friend," he said in a kind tone. "I am here to inquire if you have any rabbit meat and or pelts," he stated. Blake placed his bag at his feet. He slowly ran his fingers through his hair. "I'm sorry, it was rude of me not to introduce myself. My name is Blake. May I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" he questioned. His smile widen. Blake watched the girl.
