Medwin glanced at Clarissa and then at Alec suggestively. I could tell he wanted an explanation but I wasn't going to give him one, especially not with Jack around. I bit my lips as he worked his way, treating my wounds and my eyes watered when he cleaned them with rubbing alcohol. Nevertheless, I stared at Alec stubbornly, trying to figure out what was causing him to act in that peculiar way. Well,apart from nearly dying for my sake,that is.
