In truth, May didn't really have any friends among the other toys either, not counting the possible exception of Bolt, due in part to her habit of acting without thinking. And the fact that she regularly did things like breaking into their bases, "borrowing" their things, and kidnapping important figures.

Seeing Bolt, and correctly guessing his intentions, May opened her parasol just in time to block the spurt of oil that headed for her and Karah. After doing so, she clenched her hand into a fist before raising a single finger, in a gesture that contrasted quite strongly with her appearance. Bolt could now truthfully state that he had been flipped off by a porcelain doll masquerading as a pirate. Her eyes held no malice however, and her mouth turned upwards in a slight smirk. "Don't make me keelhaul ye' now. It'll be a little odd, given our ship's unusual shape, but it'll still be a bucketful of fun."
