Stephanie's smile dropped, as Dorian helped her up and then let go of her hand. For some reason she was shocked, she didn't know why she expected him to keep holding her hand, that was for couples, and no one seemed to like her, especially the guys she liked. Sure she's dated a couple times, but they were all cocky assholes who only wanted 1 thing.. 'Great, you are such an idiot, the guy you liked isn't into you and as for Dorian. Well he was the one guy who's really nice to you, is one of your greatest/only friends, and happens to not have any of those feelings for you!" Stephanie groaned out loud and started walking behind Dorian 'It's probably just as well, considering we are friends and it would be kind of awkward.' Stephanie tried to convince herself, but it wasn't working and she sighed.. She talks to herself a lot, mainly because she doesn't have that many people she can trust to talk to. She would talk to Dorian, because he's kind of like her, they are both fucked up, with they're own set of problems. But she is afraid he will think less of her, even though she knows he won't, because on the outside he is very laid back, but in private he isn't as under control as he seems. Usually when he's alone, he'll just go off in fits. Little things can set him off, but it's very rare for this to happen. Not many people had seen him like that before, neither did she but he had told her about it. The scary part is, she doesn't find him scary, and she actually understands him, where other people who would see him like that, would get a restraining order.

"I'm starting to get the feeling we're on an island," Dorian said abruptly, but softly, cutting through Stephanie's mental battles. "This doesn't look much like, uh, an actual place." Stephanie stopped following Tristan and Ollie and looked around, "Maybe we should go another way, and leave these two in private." Stephanie suggested, looking at Tristan and Ollie together. "They actually look kinda cute together, even though they are exactly the opposite of each other."
