Reece stayed perched on the hood of his car, watching each member of his group gather in the garage and select a car. Though he preferred traveling on foot, he did share the same passion that most men shared for cars. Though the whole liking cars thing was only information he had dragged out of his Sensei. Apparently they weren't supposed to know these things, or something like that. They were sophisticated, living in what was like solitary confinement for their whole lives. Sensei had been his friend though, and when he completed tasks correctly, Sensei would share something new with him. It was one of the things that got him through the days that he really felt like giving up, when he felt like he didn't want to be there. Many nights he had contemplated running away, but something had always kept him there. Maybe the training, he always had been a very dedicated worker- even if he was a bit stuck up at times. Honestly, he was a good person... Depending on how you came off to him. And... it was hard to impress someone like him, very hard. And he knew he should be nicer, Sensei had always scolded him for his behavior, it was just difficult. Especially since he had only ever been around Sensei and the occasional people that would come and sit in on his training sessions. Those days were his favorite, but Sensei hated them. The one time that Reece had asked him why, Sensei had just told him that he showed off when others were around. At first, this had confused him.
Well, until something else happened. And eventually he learned that Sensei was right. Another one of his flaws, he liked to show off. He liked being better than everyone else.
The white haired boy immediately felt the other force messing with him. His eyes flitted around the room, but there was no other sign that he was looking for the source of this. When his eyes found the girl by the red car, it clicked. His voice came out smooth, calm, yet the danger underneath clearly there. "Stop that immediately. I will not tolerate any of you using your power against one another- not without the consent of the other person." And then he went back to looking bored.
Once everyone had gathered inside the garage, he pushed himself off the hood of his car and stood in front of it for a moment- waiting until he had everyone's attention. "My name is Reece and as you already know, I will be leading you all. I request that once we clear out of here, everyone go and get appropriate attire for Dallas." He made eye contact with each person, if only momentarily. "We will meet a mile outside of the gates of Dallas tomorrow at nine in the morning, where we will enter at separate times. Find the bluetooth in your car and keep it on you at all times, it is the only way we will be able to communicate when separated." Now he moved back to the drivers side of the car, hand on the door. "Good luck to all of you." With that he opened the door to his vehicle and got in, driving swiftly off into darkness.
