Tom and the 2nd from last going down the spiral stair case. Suddenly the was a loud boom and the stair case shook.

"They must know were here." One of them whispered. The one in the lead slowly continued down the stair case.
"Sir, the door way is block a large couch"
"Damn, they must taking an alternative exit. You" he pointed to the man behind him. "Go down there and help him move the couch and try to follow them. The rest of you, follow me!" And the soldiers went their separate ways. When they got to the top of the staircase, the door was shut and they keypad next to read 'Chem spill, air locked'. "Damn, they locked us in. Some one give me an EMP grenade." One of the solders tossed him one. He pulled the pin, pressed the button, then took a few steps down. A high pitched buzzing sound, then all the lights went off around them. They turned on their flash light and pointed at the sealing where the manual handle was. Tom went up to it and started to crank the door open. He opened it just enough so they could crawl through. When they each crawled out, the driver ran over to them.

"What's going on?" he asked.

"They blocked us off, and are probably taking a secondary exit." Tom looked around, there were houses sporadically around them. "The second exit has to be in this empty lot somewhere. Spread out and look for it" Tom pulled out the device from his pocket. Two yellow dots were moving away from him, but the screen would grow statically, and the dots would jump. "Damn, there must be lead down interfering with the satellite."
