"I'm always armed. Anyone who knows how to use Caster Gloves well ain't someone to be messed with. Not only that, but if someone manages to kill me, they're gonna have a harder time with Kaslane. All my checks are mated." She paused, mulling over the translation. "Okay, that was the wrong expression, but still."
She shuffled onto her feet, hands on her hips. "Why're you tellin' me this, ah? You woulda picked on me already if that's what you wanted to do. Tryin' to get some cash outta me for being nice?" She leaned forward a bit, narrowing her eyes at all of them.
"I'm suspicious."
