All the same he was a tad startled, though he didn't show it, by her lack of reaction. He was so used to being feared, in fact, that the prospect of not being feared, well, frightened. "What's the rush, Sweetheart? Can't you stay a while, help me out a bit?" Jarrob smiled in an overly sweet, mocking way. "Without you... Well, let's just say I can't live my life to its fullest." His heaart hammered in his just despite his outer calm. "And that, m'dear, is not a possibility." Jarrob shot into the air, thankful for the high ceiling. He swooped down, picking the girl up by her collar. "What's wrong? Scared of heights? Or does the ittle baby not know how to fly?" With a maniacal laugh, he let go.
