Just five more....just five more minutes....
The knocking at Jin's front door increased greatly after a few minutes, than dispersed once Jin left it alone for a few more. Sleepily Jin glanced over at the clock, which flashed the time marking his lateness, "I'm late...I just won't go."
Jin wasn't one for meetings or waking up early for that matter. He would rather sleep all day or even play outside then to attend this meeting, though this may sound rude it was the truth. This had nothing to do with any of the other members, as Jin liked them each very much. It was just the fact that he, himself, hates the fact he is a Zodiac. But it isn't his choice...he can't take it away.
Jin laid on his bed facing upward toward the ceiling of his fully furnished room. Taking a quick glance at the temperature, it flashed 50 degrees, the perfect temperature to sleep. As Jin soothed back to sleep the sun shone fiercely blinding Jin, which only caused him to farther his resolve of not going. With sluggish movements, Jin closed the curtains. Twisting back around he flopped down on his bed and closed his eyes. Once again drifting back to sleep.
"...Brother...Up...Wake..." Jin groaned at the sound of voices. He wished to ignore them, but he knew that wasn't a wise decision. Reluctantly Jin opened his unfocused eyes. To his surprise and slight amusement two young children were standing in front of Jin, staring down at him.
"Jasmine? Tristan? Why are you guys here? I thought I told everyone I couldn't play today?" In one swift movement Jin covered himself with the sheets. Though they were unbearably warm, he had no choice if he wanted to continue his sweet, or rather cold dream. It was wonderful to Jin, as he was standing in the middle of nowhere surrounded by snow, nothing but snow. "...What paradise..."
Jin was awaken by the shocking warmth of water soaking through his sheets. Without a seconds hesitation Jin throw the wet covers off of him, and smiled toward the two culprits. Both looked at Jin with merciless eyes, warning him that he had done something bad. He laughed at them kindly,"What did I do?"
Jasmine puffed out her cheeks,"I knew it Big Brother! I knew you were going to be late!"
Tristan nodded his head in agreement,"She's right! You were supposed to be at a meeting today."
Jasmine crossed her arms as she stared at Jin,"We knew you wouldn't be up, so we came to check on you! Do you know how late you are Big Brother?"
Jin looked at the clock, than back at the two...angels...who weren't backing down. After a minute of staring Jin surrendered. Stretching his left arm behind his head, Jin let out a large yawn, while peeking at the children with one of his emerald green eye. "Fine. I surrender. You guys win, I'll go to the meeting." Jin mumbled in a sleepy voice; true to his word Jin slipped out of bed and into his bathroom.
Walking out after five minutes, Jin was ready to go. Every accessory and article of clothing was in place. Jin thought he would wear something a little more...different than usual. Instead of wearing his regular white clothing, Jin wear his colored clothing. Once dressed Jin gripped his sword, which he placed by his side, and his tritant, that was in its smaller version so he could stuff it in his pocket. Unlike most of Jin's other items, his Zodiac key was always around his neck, which he fashioned as a necklace to make it easier to keep track of it.
Waving goodbye to the two children, who were still yelling at him, Jin escaped to the bright outside world.Walking down the streets toward the meeting place, people began to whisper and glance at his direction, wishing to sneak a peek of Jin. Though Jin was famous, he wasn't as famous as the others when it came to adults, as it was mostly the children who noticed him, which he enjoyed.
Approaching the Cafe, Jin was stopped short by the sound of his name being called. Turning around Jin spotted a tiny little girl glancing down at the ground. Bending down, so that he would be at her level, Jin smiled at the girl, "You need something?"
The girl froze for a second, than in a swift movement passed Jin a small box,"This is for you!"
Before Jin could say anything she had ran away. Jin laughed a little at the girl's reaction, though something felt...strange. Jin had never seen that girl before, he knows every child here, and he would have heard of a new child moving in...so who was she? Jin glanced down at the box in his hand, and opened it reliving a shining ring. "Wow its great."
Slipping it on his right hand, he smiled at the gift. Turning his attention back too the matter at hand, he walked inside the cafe. When inside he saw many people crowding the door, who seemed to be drowning in delight. That is when he knew where the others were. Without a word he maneuvered through the crowd and reached the others. "Sorry for my lateness." Jin sat down at the last empty set and glanced at everyone with a smile.
