He'd been dreaming, that much Caden could remember. From what he could remember, he'd been dreaming about the life that he'd left behind. He'd been back in Florida, living with his mother. Not that Caden could really call her that. He'd dreamed of his last day there. Of how his mother had come home in the early morning hours completely drugged out of her mind. They'd began arguing and things had escalated quite badly. That had been his breaking point. Caden couldn't take it any longer. He'd left that afternoon and had never looked back.
Caden began his day, as every other day. He'd woken up next to some girl that he'd been with the night before. This time, however, it was a young woman that he'd slept with a few times over the years. Her name was Sarah though Caden would normally not refer to her by her name. He remained laying next to the young woman for a few moments before he finally got up and got ready for the day. While he was getting dressed, Sarah got dressed and left quietly. She knew the drill. They would meet again when they needed it again. When he was ready, Caden grabbed his backpack that he kept filled with everything that he would need that day.
He spent his morning working the streets, selling drugs to those that thought that they needed them. Once he'd sold everything that he'd brought with him, Jimmy made his way to the Gaffiti Hall. It did not take him long and once he was there he quickly made his way inside and found Jay barking orders to a few of the lower ranking members of the gang. As he walked into the room that his friend was in, Jimmy smiled. This is where he belonged..where he felt wanted..needed.
He slowly approached the older man and waited patiently for him to acknowledge him. After Jay was finished with the young man he'd been talking to, he turned to Jimmy. "Hey, man." Jay said, nodding at his second. "We're heading over to the Princess's and Pretty Boy's. Get you supplies restocked and meet me downstairs in ten." Jimmy nodded and watched as the older man walked away, taking care of some last minute business.
Jimmy made his way out of the room and headed upstairs where they kept all of the supplies. There were several people in the room, packaging everything and storing it neatly so that everything was easy to find. Jimmy told those in the room what he needed and he quickly stocked up. He then made his way out of the room and back downstairs. He exited the building to find Jay's car waiting on him. Jay was standing beside of it, smoking. "Took you long enough, fucker." Jay said, quickly getting into the car. Jimmy merely rolled his eyes as he got into the car.
Jay took off and the drive really didn't seem to take all that long. They arrived at the trailer that they were heading to and Jay parked the car however he didn't move to get out. "Do me a favor..be nice. I don't know what it is with you and Princess but just..try not to start anything." With that, Jay got out not allowing Jimmy time to answer. Jimmy got out and followed his friend to the door of the trailer. Jay knocked and they waited for someone to answer.
When the door opened, Jay smirked. "Took you long enough." he said, leading the way into the trailer. He immediately went and sat on the couch. Jimmy followed and joined his friend. He sat his backpack on the ground next to him. Jay waited for the other two to join them before speaking again. "Drinks, Pretty Boy." Jay said, eyeing the younger man. He then turned his gaze to Princess. "It's been a while since I've seen you. How've you all been?" Jimmy merely watched the two together. He wasn't stupid. He knew that they'd had sex a few times. He couldn't stand Baby. Not at all. If it were up to him he wouldn't even be there. He was trying hard to not say anything. He'd decided that if Jay wanted him to try to get along with her..the best way to do that was to remain silent.
