"Doom upon this formula and the ones who wrote it!"Malton threw a paper scroll he was holding down on the ground and cursed at the ceiling in rage, he was frustrated with a particular potion he was working on, which is normal for him. He had rented a room at one of the inns that lie in the small town of Espor, and decided that he would take a small brake from his component-gathering to work on a strangely-prepared brew. A small alchemy lab was set up in front of him on a table, glass instruments sat bubbling and boiling, filled with a variety of liquids. Malton himself was wearing a thin tunic and a pair of trousers, which are now covered in soot from the latest failure of his career.

"Ok... Lets see... From the top I guess."He picked up the scroll and began reading from it, and with each segment he read, he held up a finger. "Crush equal parts bitter-root and dragon lily to a fine paste, did that... Bring to a boil in a pool of trout-oil, did that... Cook until it begins smoking, it did that too... Please hear and find me, this I pra- Wait, what?" He looked over the segment he just read, and then wondered where in the nine-hells did that come from. He thought back a moment, trying to recall what he thought was his own thoughts, but quickly realizes they were not in his voice, but of a woman's. "Hmm... Well this is interesting... Maybe the fumes from thi- No, I feel completely fine. Huh..." He continued to ponder over the message and how it could have entered into his head, he knew mages had the power to speak telepathically, but a mage in this village? He then felt another invasive thought enter his head, it wasn't forceful or unearthly like traditional magic, but calming and much more natural to him.

"Huh... I guess someone does need to see me." He muttered to himself as he got up, slid on his boots, and exited the room he was staying in. He kept thinking back to the message and how it got there in the first place, so much that he was next to oblivious about the fact that he had no idea where he was going or why he was going there, subconsciously letting the summons lead him to it's caller.
