May's hand twitched a bit as she glanced at Anthony's back, still hiding behind her hair because for her to blush in and of itself was embarrassing. She was supposed to be the calm and clear headed girl, but whenever it comes to things like complementing her appearance or guy-girl relationships, her brain would fog and she didn't like it. It makes her stupidly vulnerable, and that's why she avoids the boyfriend-girlfriend thing. Doesn't this guy know how to talk about anything else? When she felt the heat start to leave her cheeks, she replied, "We're FRIENDS." She looked at Jace a little hesitantly, hoping the red tent was completely gone from her face, "Come on, don't want any of us to get separated again..."
