Some things she already hated: 1) being underestimated, 2) being treated like someone who needs to be protected. She was one of the best and quickest fighters at camp, not some weakling that can't hold her own.
She moved a little to the left before grabbing her hairpin, it changing into her bow, materializing a arrow of light using her small skills in photokenesis, grazing the back of the guys hand behind Jace when she shot, causing him to yelp and drop his sword.

She looked over the Romans piling into the room, annoyed enough to think some curse up on the dot, "Romans who I failed to greet, until tomorrow have clumsy feet." She felt her chest go cold like ice as energy was pulled out of her to fuel the curse, and as soon as she spoke the last word, some of the Romans started to trip or stumble on nothing.
