Getting back on her feet, she walked towards where Ryuchi was conversing with the firefighters and stood off to the side to wait. He hesitated once he saw her. She could tell that he knew she remembered now. Slowly he made her way to her, and with each step her emotions surged more strongly than before. Pain, betrayal…mixed with a little bit of relief now that she knew who she really was. But mostly anger. The expression on her face was the humorless, more intense equivalent of an annoyed woman crossing her arms and tapping her foot impatiently.
When he reached her, Ryuchi started to say something, but was cut off by Rosalie's hand slapping his face. It left a red mark on his cheek and he didn't even turn back to look at her.
"You did this to me," she said quietly. The words caught in her throat and she had to swallow the coming tears back. She slapped him again, and in the dancing firelight she could see the pain in his deep, green eyes. Normally she would've hated to see him that way, but she felt no remorse. "You…bastard. You did this. Why the hell did you think that would be a good idea? Cutting me off from everyone? What gives you the right?"
Her voice rose in volume and her face contorted into an expression of rage. She punched him a few times in the chest, putting increasingly more force behind each blow. "Bastard!" she screamed. "How could you do that to me?! How could you make me forget Reina? How could you make me forget you?!"
She punched him once more and then just clung to his duster, hanging her head in defeat. "After everything we'd been through…you thought the best thing to do was to just get rid of it all? I loved you…"
