After the Head Mistress had completed her announcement, Drake decided to check out the interior walls of the school. Wandering around lazily, he checked every nook and cranny for any secret or interesting landmarks.
He didn't find any.
This got him bored. Sighing at the plain, boring school building, he slowly walked towards the next sector, where there were other monsters talking and chattering. Passing by the large crowd, his ears quickly took in a few words: 'Humans? Dumb...why that?', 'Ooh good. Now I can take my anger out on the humans!', 'Pathetic apes...think they got a place in store?', and 'God-damn that headmistress....such a b*tch for placing humans into our ranks!'.
His ears continued to twitch, as he heard every filthy words that came out of those unworthy mouths. With such a tremendous amount of haters blabbing their mouths about people they don't even know about, Drake's mood turned sour. Trying to keep his calm, he left the obnoxious and loud scene, and continued up the stairs.
Reaching the dormitory, he looked around the polished building. It looked a lot cleaner than the main school building, and gave off a better, and much more professional impression. He noticed a couple of monsters talking to each other, but he didn't want to hear anymore. After all that rubbish the group before had sputtered, his head was tired. Monster didn't know anything about humans after all, as humans didn't understand monsters. The past kept coming back to him, but he didn't care. Arriving in front of a door, he looked up at it. It wasn't big, but it looked like the inside would have been kept in a nice condition.
He was wrong.
Once he entered through the door, all he saw was dust, cobwebs, some short house-trolls, etc. Disappointed at such a condition, Drake closed the door, and turned to another boy who had just arrived in front of him. He was looking at another door, the one right beside him. This one looked quite ordinary, and as the door opened, he noticed a clean, nice and elegant room. Filled with curtains, and a big window, and a soft room, etc.
Approaching the boy slowly, he tapped his right shoulder, and looked at him in a grin.
"Ah. I think this is your room? Unfortunately, my room looks too big for me and I'm not good with such spacious spots...so let's trade, no? I think you'll be quite satisfed...", requested Drake. His smile glinted bright white, as he raised his hand, underpalm, towards his door.
As the other boy left to check on it, only to expect a dusty disaster....Drake quietly left into the room, and locked the door.
'Well, with a bit of work, cleaning, and sneezing, that place'll look great!', he pleasantly thought. He actually meant it. He was a nice boy, but he didn't understand what was bad and what was the problem for the other student. Drake turned towards the window, and dropped to the ground. His red hair flopped over the floor, and his eyes let off a little shine of satisfaction. Sighing, he reviewed his day so far in his thoughts. With a deep breath, he concluded with: He was glad, to finally have to experience with high school life.
