Basil’s first official day as Head of the House. Quite… exhilarating. He eyes slowly split open as he stirred from his sleep. It was a long, dark night. He had smoked a cigar and drank a glass of Stephenson cognac. Delicious. His brand new sheets were a little stiff and underused, but comfortable nonetheless.
When Basil was given the keys to the manor and offered his parents’ old room, he made damn well sure to replace everything in it. Carpet, wallpaper, mattress, furniture. Anything that reminded him of that man.
He was alone that night. In the city, he always had a bedpartner – be it cousin, or boyfriend or random bloke off the street. But in the manor? He had nobody. And ever since he broke up with his last fling… well, needless to say he needed some attention.
He picked himself up off the bed. He was naked. He always slept naked, never really caring for fancy pajamas or even boxers that kept his junk all tightened and enclosed. Also, it was easier for him to just go from bed to bath in mere moments.
Yes, his bath. Oh he loved his bath. Perhaps the one fine taste his parents ever had: an open-air eternity bath that led out to a wonderful view of the Sound. He lightly tip-toed his feet into the water – crystal clear and piping hot. Just how it should be.
Basil finally had time to wake up. As he scrubbed at himself between his cheeks, he remembered all the official business that awaited him for the day. Signing of documents. Presenting of arms. Addressing the slaves. The slaves! There’s a new one today. A 19 year old his father had ascertained for himself. Luckily, the asshole died before he could ruin another one. So Basil pondered: leave the boy alone or make an immediate advance? His pictures were quite charming, but perhaps he wasn’t as attractive in person?
Needless to say, he had to see him at once. With a ring of the bell, a slave timidly entered the bathroom. “Fetch me the new boy. Do not haste him, I will be here for awhile. Make sure he is fully settled and the overseer is done with him. When he is ready, have him come here – alone. That is all.” With that, Basil had a cracked smile. He quietly began taking his morning pills and glaring over the darkened Sound.
