Richard had spent the whole night in a closet of a rundown building, there was nowhere else for him to go, and there was no way he had the resources to survive out there. The sounds had slowly began to leave the door, they were unable to find where he was hiding, they did bang at the door a few times but they seemed to lose interest when there was no response. Richard was lucky, though he didn’t really consider himself lucky. He’s been in three groups ever since this thing started and everyone in these groups has died but him.

He slowly opened the door of the closet revealing a room that was not quite the same as it had been in the dark. It was destroyed, trash everywhere, paint peeling off the wall and in one of the corners you could see a spot where someone slid down the wall no a very grotesque demise. There was only a pile of meat left at the end of the blood streak.

“Woah”

He took his time walking out of the door making sure there weren’t any infected still hanging about the house before walking to a gaping door letting in a blinding light. Yes, he remembered having to slam the door on the infected faces to get some distance, dint work quite well but here he was alive, that’s more than could be said about most people these days. He walked outside into a quite rural neighborhood, dirt roads cheap looking houses just the works.

Left, Right… nothing. Awesome

The area around him seemed to be void of zombies, it was time for him to go, the stalkers liked to re trace their steps at night
