A certain phrase seemed to catch his attention. "Oh, we know that you two had a good morning. We could hear that loud and clear." He raised an eyebrow at Marco and opened his mouth to utter a witty retort, but Roxie beat him to the punch.
"Aw, Marco are you jealous, due to your lack of any action at all in your love life?"
Marco simply chuckled, smiling. “Ha-ha, good one.” Marco said sarcastically.
"I'm sure Elliot is getting anxious, waiting for me. He has to get your scent off of me."
Chance was quickly snapped back into reality. He nodded in defeat and walked her over to the front door, holding her hand still. He opened the door and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before letting go of her hand gingerly as she walked towards Elliot.
“How many times have I picked you up from this place?” Elliot joked, flashing Roxie a smile. He had a large grey sweatshirt in his hands. Chance leaned against the doorframe, crossing his arms. He watched the two very closely, glaring at Elliot the entire time.
Elliot pulled the sweatshirt over Roxie, dowsing her in his scent. Chance’s nose twitched and scrunched up. “What did you do, piss on that thing? I can smell it all the way from over here.” Chance called over, not moving from his spot. Elliot simply ignored him, making Chance snort in frustration.
Elliot then hugged Roxie a bit too affectionately for Chance’s liking. He narrowed his eyes and cleared his throat rather loudly. Even though he knew Ell was doing this all for Roxie’s benefit, Chance didn’t like it. He envied the closeness the two friends shared. Chance stood there, refusing to move, until the two drove off and their car faded into the treeline.
