Chara smiled at the antics of Jamie and her friend, waving goodbye after making a few quidditch competition jokes. When Jamie walked off, Chara walked into the common room, checking the bulletin board. All of the necessary announcements were posted, and there weren't any prank posters or anything that first years shouldn't see, although why a Hufflepuff would do something like that was beyond her. Why anybody would do that was beyond her. Once she had finished that, Chara collapsed onto the fluffy yellow couch that was sitting by the fire, a hanging plant dangerously close to hitting her in the head.
Sighing, Chara stood up and began to slowly walk to her dorm, sleepiness taking its toll, giving her a zombie-like walk and posture. She pushed open the large, round, vault door that led to the dormitories. She struggled up the steps, the cold of being underneath the castle starting to seep into her bones. Once she reached her dormitory, precious dorm number six, the one she had been sleeping in since first year, she flopped onto her bed like a fish out of water. Shifting uncomfortably, she realized that she had messily folded up and shoved her schedule for the year in her back pocket. Fishing it out, she unfolded it as carefully as possible, smoothing out the edges as much as she could, and began to look it over. She sighed. All of her good classes were with Slytherins. Not all of them were evil, but most were.
With a mindset now far away from bad thoughts about Slytherins, Chara realized that her schedule was now totally ruined. She groaned, letting her head fall back, promising herself that she would make a new one. Soon. If you actually find time for it, or stop procrastinating long enough to even consider work, Chara thought to herself with a slight smile. She laid back against the bed, her thoughts about schedules and Slytherins drifting away with her consciousness.
