You were one of many that lived in a small forgotten village that had had two things from keeping anyone from leaving or entering the defenseless village-a seemingly lonely valley path that seemed like a harmless way to escape...until you came across a ruthless dragon's cave territory (which the valley was full of). The other only way was a tainted lake full of mutated sea monsters that were not to be messed with, unless of course you wanted to be a sea monster's chew toy.

Every year or so one of the villagers sacrificed two people, one for the tainted lake and another for the dragon fulled valley. This would keep the dangerous away from the small town, but one year the dragons of the mountains demanded six offerings by morning or they would destroy half the villager's town.

Terrified the villages obeyed and prepared six this time. Two men and women followed by a boy and a young girl. You were one of these sacrifices, at first you were terrified but the minute a large dragon appeared above the town you felt like it was time to change this horrible way of life for good.

The dragon came and at the last minute you hid the other villagers underground safely and explained your plan to them. Most of them disagreed at first but they had no other plan to offer. With your new found courage you went outside to face the dragon.
