Though his words were spoken softly, the tiny echoes turned in to loud reverberations that flowed like a river in to her ears. In her mind his voice glowed and slowly the words formed an image of a gentle being that had been gifted with a natural calmness. On the world of Terronia one learns how to perceive another's personality strictly on their first words and already Mystra could tell that this strange man posed no threat to her.
As Mystra neared the Wrenn the odor became stronger. With just a whiff Mystra was taken aback from the alluring glow of the man and her senses became drenched in an aroma of such unpleasantness that her face twisted in disgust. The members of the Hall heard her as she let out a shrewd noise of displeasure, like the sort of sound a child makes when he's tasted something horrible. Her head bowed in embarrassment, she began to have a feeling that a strong sense of smell could be a curse. With the way her ears had been twitching one might assume they were animals trying to escape from her hair, which was in fact quite thick.
Mystra quickly regained her poise brushing off the worried expressions of those around her. Though the Hall was familiar, being around these faces was still strange to her. Unless she thought of the Elders, it was difficult for her to have faith in any of them. Being around this group she felt slightly uneasy, though it was partially her home away from home she still avoided making any friends and solely focused on strengthening her abilities. This part of her personality made her seem cold an approachable which was hardly her intention but with her past and her inability to speak candidly with others it was difficult for her to harmonize with those around her.
She watched as the man with the gentle voice neared the Wrenn hardly threatened by it's aggressive stance. The sword still pointed at the wing man, Mystra continued to watch as to would happen next. Mystra stared at his feathers closely forming wings drawn in as if to not accidentally knock someone over. Though Mystra's seen the Empyreans gliding through the sky she had never once had the fortune of being so close to one until now. She gazed curiously until the moment she withdrew herself in an attempt to not garner his interest.
Closer now, they could see Mystra standing just behind them.
