Zeebarl's grin flickered for a moment as he heard the 'however', internally bracing himself for whatever catch the catch was, annoyed at there being some condition to the trade such a having not the right currency, wanting to trade for it or simply wishing to lower the price. He tended to prefer things to go immensely smoothly, believing it to prove his worth as a merchant, but he was sure he could handle whatever the issue was.
There was no cause to worry however, as it seemed he merely wanted to test the seax himself, which Zeebarl was perfectly fine with complying to as Esk took the large knife from his hands.
As the half-elf tested it for himself, slashing at thin air himself, he seemed pleased with product, which Zeebarl seemed pleased about as well. As he turned back to the halfling merchant, he placed the seax in a leather sheath and handed Zeebarl a silver coin which he snatched greedily, as Esk attached his new weapon and tool to his belt.
"No problem at all good sir, it was pleasant indeed in doing business with you and making your acquaintance, so, like wise! I'm sure that seax shall be most useful on your travels!", Zeebarl replied heartily to Esk's gratitude, clasping the offered hand and shaking it vigorously.
"Well, Mr. Esk, I do hope you have a safe journey to........ wherever your going to. Feel free to follow along if you wish, you seem like a trustworthy sort. If not, then I bid you farewell my good man, as a merchant's work is never done!", Zeebarl announced before giving a flourishing bow to his latest customer, before grabbing his cart by the pair of handles, dragging i after him with a grunt of effort as he started heading in the direction he saw the red haired knight leave in, whether Esclava came along with him or not.
As he wandered down the street, looking around for his next possible customer, calling out nosily; "Perfect deals and offers right here! Get your bargains! We got weapons, armor, tools, clothes, food, books, tomes, magical assortments, accessories and whole bunch of curios and brica brac!", also looking around his surroundings for any, well, customers in general, as well as keeping an eye out for any nasty sorts that'd be interested in nicking his wares.
